The new 5.3 will have 320hp and 340tq its okay but i want to see if they have anything planed for the aluminium block AKA l33.

Vortec 5300 5.3L V-8 (LY5)
Cast iron
Cast aluminum
320 @ 5300
340 @ 4200

what part of it is cast iron and what part is cast aluminum? the block and heads respectively i assume?

Yes that would be just dumb to put iron heads on an aluminum block kind of defeats the purpose.

Once agin they are underrating it 320HP at 5300 and they have a 6K max RPM up from what 5400?

What happend to the tahoe with 400HP?The rags always over quote.

My truck redlines at 5900 so for me they went up 100rpms.The 5.3 has much more potential but we have to wait and see what comes out for 07-08. The 400hp version might not be available until later on.
