I was just reading the new Peterson's 4Wheel & Off-Road, and they reported that it will have an optional aluminum 6.2 liter with 400hp... Kick ass!!! Here is their list of engines:

5.3 iron block-------320hp
5.3 aluminum block--320hp
6.0 iron block-------350hp
6.0 aluminum block--355hp
6.2 aluminum block--380hp
6.2 aluminum block--400hp :D

The aluminum 5.3s and 6.0s have DOD. There is also an optional 6 speed auto. I just hope these engines make their way into some RCSB trucks!!! :burn:

I don't know the details, or torque ratings though. It was a small article.

i was hoping to see at least 330hp for the almn blk 5.3 but man it would have been sweet how are the normal 5.3 geting same hp as the Almn if the almn has a higher compression? I wonder what it really will be.
