Just had to share,
6.1L cam, comp cam ls1 springs, some retainers and locks are on the way. Should be good for 25rwhp, and get me into the 13's N/A. Went this route since I have the Superchips Programmer all ready.
Hotchkis TVS System 2/4 drop is also on the way. Having trouble finding a local shop to do the install though that I can trust. Should make this tank handle very well in the corners.
American Eagle 025 20x8.5 rims to go with my 305/50R20 Toyo Proxies are also on the way. The tire's are a bit beefy but there's a lot of gap to fill up, even with the drop.
Future Mods planned for this year are APS Converter, Underdrive Pully, Electric Fan, Srt-10 Bumper, and Street Scenes Roll Pan.
Can't wait to get this stuff installed, and for it to be spring so I can actually step on the gas without spinning in the snow. :)

Sounds Like a killer xmas present! Keep us updated on the progress! Oh and BTW... just for curiosity weigh your new wheel and tire combo....
I slowed my truck down on the Drag Radials if I am not using the juice as they weighed more than the wheels and tires they replaced.

According to the web sites, the 20" 025 series weighs 38lbs, and the toyo is 45, for 83lbs. I think the stock 20's are a little heavier then that, and stock 20" rims and the toyo's are sitting around 90lb's. When I get them in I'll do a real weigh on them.

It's close to that, I think the stock tire/rim combo measured 82# for us. I replaced mine with a 275-45-20 tire and saved 10# on each corner. The higher effective gear ratio combined with the lighter weight really made the launches better and did not seem to impact the fuel mileage if at all. Only down side is the increased gap in the fenderwell, our trucks have a cavern in there!
FYI, my friend installed some drag radials on 17" stock steelies at the strip last year. It improved his 1/4 mile times by almost 0.5! The weight of the combo was 45#, a ton of unsprung weight.
Best improvement I saw was the torque converter. The truck launches so much harder and revs faster than before, makes it feel like the throttle response is improved too. Took a trip to CO earlier and still managed 17mpg ( slight tail wind, 80mph the whole way ) with the TC and 45 series tires.
Good info ktmrider, I may have to pick up some slicks in the spring. Did you get the APS converter, I may have to bump that to the top of the mod list. :)
So my rims are in, I got them mounted on my Toyo's. I don't have them on the truck as it's winter. Yes the truck is very dirty thanks to the mud they put on the roads here to get traction. :)

I went with the Edge Racing Products model. It was quite a bit cheaper than the APS or TCI model but still had the nice upgrades ( aluminum stator, custom stall speed, etc ). They even shipped without charging for a core. I definitely think it is a must have upgrade! It was a no-brainer while the engine was out so I was able to save big $$$ on installation costs.
Love the look of the new rims/tires. Bling is not outrageous and the combo fills out the wells nicely.
