Hey yall my friend has a 1999 dodge durango 5.2L- and he already has shorty header, msd 6a, msd plug wires, intake, and he would like to get a lower temp thermostat- He has found 180 degree and 160 degree thermostats. I have heard of 160t-stats throwing codes on OBD-II vehicles and i was wondering if he would have problem with this- or should he just go with the 180 t-stat. Thanks-
On my 1998 ram ss/t I went with the 180 because I heard the same thing. No problems what so ever with the 180 stat. Need to get one for my new ram soon too.
