Went to the track last night, and I was
running consistent 13.0 stalling at 1500 rpm. After the 3rd time I decided to go at it
again without cooling down, this time
stalling at 2800, giving me a 60 ft. of 1.77,
8.0@84 mph in 1/8 mile, and 12.86@101.7 mph. Man, was I happy or what! I know now
that the 1500 rpm stalling flash theory
doesn't work for me.

Man those are great times. How high are you taking your RPMs? Have you considered some longtube headers? Wonder what they would do for ya..............

Thanks, everybody!!..........I did took off my borla to run open header on the second to the last run but it didn't make no difference  . I still ran a 13.018@101.4. I guess the only thing that made a difference in my truck was the high stalling.

I think kevin, put 2 cutouts where his cats used to be at and he got a few tenths out of that....

I have it tuned shifting itself at 6800 rpm. It does feel pretty strong up high!
About the longtubes, I don't think I'm going to get em soon, I feel pretty satisfied with my shorties! :)

Well, you know how they say that some trucks run better with open exhaust and some don't, I think that mine runs a little better with the muffler on cause I feel it kind of weak at top end with open header.

I think this is the first time I hear about an N/A truck run 12's with shorties!!

The 13.018 run was with no muffler but it wasan't a high stalling launch. The next run was when I stalled it high. Couldn't cool it down cause the track was already going to close so I have that in mind also.

may want to try it again next time but stalling it up high, I am pretty confident you could do better that way??

that's kind of weird. my truck is total oposit. i run your mph with muffler and it does not like it. it has bottom end but no top end. when i run open y-pipe it still has tons of bottom end if not more and lots of top end around 103-104mph...

I guess all trucks behave diffrently, if not bad good to others. My truck ran the same time with open y-pipe! It is weird!

Hey great number you got there Ivan, trucks is looking better i saw you about 2 weeks ago on the express way, man that truck is low, lol.
BTW- this is Leo the one that bought the stall u had before, didnt put it after all. My best has been a 14.6, with the tune, 3.90 gears, and a KN intake, and it was at noon when they had the winter bash, i might get 1 or 2 tenths out of her.
