Default Dealers: WTB Bottle Warmer

Hi guys,

I need a bottle warmer but, I'd like to understand "how" they work.

1. How exactly do these blankets warm up the bottle to increase PSI?
2. What parts come with the blanket?
3. How hard of an install will this be?
4. Cost?

Thanks.

1. They are controlled by a transuder, which the common mechanical type has an on and off pressure setting and is pressure based, with some being adjustable. Second type is the electro thermastatic that also has a on/off pressure and is temp based, and is adjustable only by changing thermastat, ie: an 85* will heat bottle to 950psi and a 95* will heat bottle to 1050psi and so on.
The electro has the benifit of being hidden under heater, whereas mech hangs off bottle.
2. The heater itself, look for a 300 watter as this will heat bottle in 80% of the it takes a 240watter. Transducer, wiring, relay switch and instructions.
3. Install is very easy and straight foward.
4. Nitrous Direct fully automatic 300 watt heater is $159.00.
There is more info if interested.

Is there a warmer that doesn't require some style of an activation button?
I already have the purge and activation switch for the n2o mounted to my dash.

I'm going to read thru your post a few more times to see if I can comprehend it better. This post was just some of my thoughts.

Thanks.

Okay Robert, maybe just a tad bit more info on how the two types are activated... and that'll do.

Thanks.

The systems both are activated by a toggle switch. They read either bottle pressure or bottle temp, and if below set point heater comes on. Then once bottle is to pressure or tempature it shuts down. your toggle will have switched ign 12volts (key on only) that sends a low amp signal to relay so heater will have power when needed. So, I do this, I just leave my sw on and anytime I get into car, and start, the heater will heat if needed, it's all automatic. Just make sure you use switched ign 12v, so everything shuts down when leaving car. Hope this helps make things a little clearer.

Damnit man... I was hoping it wasn't toggle activated.
I don't know what I was expecting though.
Thanks for the help Rob.... I got my kit installed so I'll
post some pictures of it in your thread soon.

Every heater on the market is toggle activated, it's just a master 12v sw, then auto from there? It's like starting your car, it's a sw to turn it on. you can wire it to activate through your main arm switch also, meaning you don't need another switch.

I like that idea. I don't want any more switches mounted.
I'll get in touch with you when I decide what I want.

Thank you Robert.
