Would the following work as a sort-of window switch?
Set your WOT vs. TPS to say 70%.
Nitrous is activated @ 100% throttle position.
To avoid spraying thru the shifts you could back off of the throttle to 70-99% throttle. This would keep you under WOT conditions but would deactive the nitrous.
This should be the equivalent of a window switch and also save your transmission from the abuse it receives when you spray thru the shifts.
With an automatic transmission it wouldn't be a huge task. Heck, I could make a phone call while going down the strip in my truck.
Let me know...

Its easier to just use a progressive controller that has a window switch built in IMO. It would allow you to control the delivery of the nitrous and also shut the spray off during the shifts. If you set up your WOT switch correctly it should only come on when you have it floored anyway. I have mine set to where at ~95% TPS it comes on. The best/safest way to do what you are talking about is just to get a window switch. MSD makes a nice digital window switch for liek 85 bucks

On my '96 Cobra I ran a two stage setup. Spraying 75hp out of the hole and picking up another 125hp at 3000rpm. This was achieved by using two fogger nozzles and two window switches. Both nozzles shut off at at 6800rpm (fuel shut off checked in at 7000rpm) and were only on at WOT (with sufficient fuel pressure) using a throttle activated microswitch, meaning that if I lifted or ran out of fuel the system deactivated. I loved it, I bought the initial kit for $150 and picked up the 2 window switches for $85ea at Jegs then bought another second hand NX kit for $130 when I combined the two the above setup was what I got. I had $500 in the system total with parts left over. Hell, at that time a progressive controler wass $350 for the cheap one and like $550 for the NOS digital one.

I didn't purchase a window switch so this should do for now.
I guess you could do this with a stock tune but I think the WOT is set to anything greater than 93%. Letting off the throttle in a 7% margin might be a task.
70% roughly would give some leeway.

If you did not need a progressive controller you could use the TRick digital window switch. It has a dual window switch,TPS, and any gear lock out feature for 129.00. Ofcourse if you do need a progressive controller the new FJO 206.00 controller is hrad to beat.
