Default Cant get her started

I got this 1990 S-10 Durango Some of you remember it, as the truck that fell off the tow dolley. Well any way, Ive been playing with it for a while now, and just finished up changing the key cylinder, turnd it over and she fired up on the first try, granted it took a while and she wasnt happy but I got it goin. So i head over to the parts store and I get a new cap, rotor, plugs, and plug wires, I get all of it on, and now it wont start... I checkd the plug wire order 3-4 times.

Let me remind you this has sat for well over 2 years.

Any ideas?

Edit: 2.5l 4cyl, TBI, 5 Speed, 2 wheel drive.

No matter how far along your are or not, always go back to the basics. Have you checks to make sure that you still have spark or fuel? May be something bad wrong with the cap and rotor, or a problem of that sort.

YA
within minutes of not starting you should have determind which one you did not have spark or fuel, from your response it sounds like you still do not know.

Just drop a 6l in it and dont worry about it.

I had a truck a while back that would crank up and run fine, but when you killed it it wouldnt re-start. It eventually got to where it would die while you were driving, and not re-start. Ended up being the fuel pump going bad.
