When I had a first got this truck, I had a goal of beating my dad in his CTS-V. Since I put the Procharger on in May I haven't had a chance to run against him until yesterday. The first round we went from a dig in the middle of the street, and I let him move first. My reaction was great and I quickly jumped ahead and had 1-1/2 lengths by 95mph. The second race was from a 30mph roll. I left the truck in drive and he got the jump on me. I had to wait for the truck to downshift and he ended up pulling about two lengths by 100mph. He wanted to try me from a dead stop again so we went to our usual long flat three lane spot to give it a try. I set the G-Tech up since I had it just sitting in my truck. The light changed and my truck jumped so hard off the line that I put a quick 2 lengths on him and that is were it stayed until about 115 when we were dead even. He then pulled ahead of me and we shut it down. Then I looked at my G-Tech times and I was thrilled!! My 0-60mph was a 4.30 and I ran the quater mile in 12.970 @ 102.7mph!!! I ended up with a 1.8 60ft. time. My dad was in shock that I could stay ahead of him for that long, and it was long enough to stay ahead of him through the 1/4 mile. He has been talking about getting a supercharger for the V and now I know that it's going to happen. Oh well I still can't get the smile off of my face. I love this truck!!

Nice kill! Isn't the CTS the one with the commercial that says "0 to 60 in under 5 seconds" and it says it about 5 times before the commercial is over? I bet every time your Dad sees that commercial he gets closer to ordering the S/C LOL!

 

Well you know all you need to do is order a few more parts and you will be ahead of him again. Through a 418 in it and some spray with a bit more boost and you have low 11s.
