Obviously my truck is a 4x4, so with that said is launching in 4HI really the way to go?
I have heard and seen others talk about it and observed countless videos of people doing this.
The question I have is will the transfer case really let you switch back to 2WD mode after the launch?
I have seen posts stating that it will not switch back to 2WD under full acceleration. Mechanics have told me the same.
If this is true how much power will I be losing through drivetrain ineffcienties in 4HI?
Enough to affect my ET? Not enought o notice a difference?

Would I be better off just running the 1/4 in 2WD mode all the way down?
Anyone who has a 4x4 and has done the 1/4 both ways what was your experience?
Next weekend is the last weekend the track here is open, I intend to be there before the season is out...weather permitting.

Unless U R Haveing Tracktions Problems Real Bad I Would Not Launch In 4 Hi.most Of The Guys Doing This R Turbo R Super Charge Truck R Alot Of No2.

On my truck with the Radix, if I'm using street tires, I leave in 4HI, then hit the 2HI button. Works good!
