I was wondering about what kind of exhaust manifolds that the v8 guys were using in california for the smog legal swaps....if the stock ones were the only choice that you have or are there a set that advanced adapters makes.....I was talking to one of my budies that wants to put a Gen III motor into his S10 and we couldnt see how you could have CALIFORNIA smog legal headers on it because they are all made for the ORIGIONAL VEHICLE that the Gen III motor came out of, and just looking at the headers that are smog legal they look too long...like they would hang SUPER LOW...or not even fit because of how close the V8 would be to the frame.....does that make sense to anyone? SO....is there any alternative to the STOCK exhaust manifolds on GEN III v8's in s10's for california....AND still be smog legal....as in a CARB EO NUMBER?

ANY INFO WOULD BE APRECEATED....JUST THROWING AROUND IDEAS.....THANKS.......
HY-ME
