I'm selling because I dont have the desire to keep spending time and money on modifying further, and I'd like to sell someone a reliable fast truck rather than a "project". I've accomplished my goals with it and its time to move on. It has no known problems - everything is 100%. More pics in sig pic link.

haha - thanks for the compliments, I appreciate it. It hasn't had any serious inquiries yet so I might keep it for a while and think about it a bit more. One big reason I dont feel like progressing is the price. It would cost probably 5k or more to do what I want (heads/4 link/1" more drop/wideband/meth/etc). I could just drive it as is, but since I've had it, it has been a continuous project, which made it fun.

Another option to get 're motivated' is to skip the heads/meth and all that and just spray it. I'm pretty confident a 11 sec pass would be easy with just a 50 shot. And were only talking ~$500 to accomplish that....so I dont know. I'll probably change my mind again tomorrow :D

So in short, if you want this truck BUY IT. Because I might just keep it and blow it up :jest:

Trade me trucks and you can start a new project. =P

As of now I'm taking it off the market. Thanks for the compliments, and it for anyone concerned, it will probably be for sale again in the next few months.

haha, I might if I didnt have plans - I'm going to see how things play out, but maybe this winter it will be meth injected, 4 linked (1-2" lower all around), and dyno tuned. My tentative plans are to get an 11.xxx run, we will see :D

Long term plans might include a built motor or just a LQ4, good set of heads, 10psi and nitrous - but I doubt the trans could take it for too long.

o3gmc, too bad you took it off the market, I have $25k cash. Let me know if you're interested.

If you lose your senses and decide to get rid of it again, maybe a trade of some sorts?

Yeah, unfortunately there is almost no resale value on the modifications, people just look up the blue book and expect to get the 18k worth of goodies as an 'added bonus' :jest:

Well, I thought it would get more interest on ebay, but ended at 16,100, not even blue book value.....so I'll either keep it or part it out. The keeping it option sounds better though lol

That sucks Jacob! That's a bad-ass truck!!!! I had hell selling my '99 Sierra, I gutted it and traded it in for almost nothing! I just recently finally sold the rest of the parts off of it. Everyone wants something for nothing! Keep it Jacob!!

Thanks for the support....its a really tough call right now, its becoming a more and more of a money pit every year, and theres almost no stopping until something pops, then its.....you guessed it.....MORE MONEY lol Sort of why I want to say goodbye while its still reliable. I have sort of an attachment to it though, thats what makes the decision so hard.

Well I was looking to get 25k, and had alot of emails about it but nobody willing to go through with it. So I guess now my asking price would be 22k obo.

My AV sold for a little over $24K the third time it was on EBay. It was basically a fully loaded LT with the Z66 suspension and every option but the sunroof, not to mention the mods (see sig). Considering everything I had in it I expected more, but the market was very soft after 6 months of high gas prices and 3 months of GMS pricing, so I had to take what I could get. Good luck with it.
