New Exhaust Setup Done!! Clips Soon!
#1
Ok the new setup got finished yesterday!
My old setup was stock exhaust manifolds,Flowmaster 50 series single in/dual out catback system with stock tubing everywhere else, and cats, oh and stock fan.
The new setup is Pacesetter LT's(cermaic coated-black),Magnaflow 2.5" dual in/dual out single stainless mufler(pn#14568-22"-5x11), all stock tubing was removed and replaced with mandrel 2.5" all the way around(no more flat spots!), and cats were removed. Also LT1 fans w/Nelson harness was done. The turndowns had to be ordered and wil be put on in a few days. So for now its just open muffler.
I knew that these changes would result in some decent gains but they were drastic. Now that I look back that LS1 was seriously hurting to breathe! The TQ gain was obviously noticable but what suprised me was the amount of top end gained. Remember this is all by SOTP but it was that drastic. I had been reading that that muffler was quit even with no cats but that is defintly not the case with a LS1. I could say its loud but not that loud but that does no good since everyone has a different opinon. Its a hell of alot louder overall than what I had and at WOT its really really loud! Put it this way at park/idle before we raised the idle from 650rpm I set off 5 stock car alarm within minutes that where in my parking lot. I would recommend this exhaust setup to anyone -it is not quit but its def not hillbilly loud-its sounds strong. Ill be going to the track this weekend to finally get some times since I did the motor and Ill try to get some sound clips up Today. Also CRAZYCUTER4.8 thanks for taking care fo me!

Hell yeah, this is exactly what I was hoping to hear. That is going to be my plan as soon as I get some $$$ and Pacesetter makes their 4x4 version. I assume you are 2wd?
How do you like the quality of the Pacesetter lts?
Can't wait to hear it.
