Waiting on the pacesetter LT's for 4x4's, got a cam sitting here, maybe a 6.0- next graph should say over 500!
Mods: Radix 2.75" pulley, EFILive tuning, ASM headers, Flowpro muffler, Comp cam, Flexalite fans, plus the normal bolt ons. 8psi, 93 octane only and 18* timing.
I made a mistake, plain and simple. I forgot to move my speed limiter above 125 mph. On the 3rd gear pulls, the electronic throttle control was shutting the throttle down at 5300 rpms. I didn't realize this until I had already made 3 pulls and noticed the operator was stopping the pulls by 5500 rpms. It pulls well into the 6000s where I normally shift at 6400. Anyway, I think HP numbers would have been higher had the speed limiter been correct, it was pulling well until then.
This was with full exhaust including catalytic converters, full airbox, and the heavy 20" wheels and tires through an AWD drivetrain. I just pulled the front driveshaft to make the pulls. Disregard the air fuel info, it was a tailpipe probe and was getting delayed results.
I'm pleased with the nice flat torque curve and considering my mistake, the numbers are good. Torque is sweet!

Here is my first dyno with the radix.
Its scrunched but if you look at the numbers they are fairly flat like Blown Chevy's.
Sheet says flywheel (damn Aussies) but this is SAE corrected at the wheels. High of 5.6psi low of 4.8psi. 3.70 pulley and 20deg of timing.

moregrip,
Here's a updated Dyno run for my truck I forgot to post this back in November.
I don't know whats up with the Dyno's Wide Band but my AEM WB and my
HPTuners datalog shows a AFR of 12.1 for the whole pull.
Awesome! Only one tweak...my tranny is an 80-e now. Thought I put that in my post. I know it's hard work to keep this updated...thanks for doing it! :chug:
Here are my results so far with my 06 TBSS. I am doing e-fans this week and a turbo in the next couple weeks. This is a small forced induction cam, but it should make awesome power once I am all done.
Hey Grippy it's me again!! I keep trying to break that damn 500 mark!!
Dyno sheet as soon as I can scan it.
New numbers-update please.
497HP/495TQ
New custom dual 2 1/2" exhaust by Rick@Synergy gave me 5hp/8tq over the sstock y-pipe and single 3" catback. Still with Same shorty headers. (LT's are next)

most close to stock 5.3 put out 210-220 rwhp on a mustang dyno..most people leave with frowns after getting on a mustang dyno..the biggest was a from a kid that put a whipple sc on his and it put down 250..dozerdans truck put 310 with just a cam, tune, and headers..

You are the freakin man!!!! That 5.3 is screaming.
I remember when people were saying that a Radix could not support 500rwhp. You have surpassed that with only 8-9 psi. I wonder if you could hit 540-550rwhp with a 90mm set up.
I need to join that 500+ horsepower club.

those numbers are from about a year ago. i posted them up then but didn't post them to the dtl thread. >> http://www.performancetrucks.net/forums/showthread.php?t=376762&highlight=1055
as far as what will the 408 take. i am not sure. good chance it wont take the 1055rwhp in the real world. i couldn't seem to get any more power than enough to run low 10's no matter what i tried but my fuel system was marginal. now that is fixed and it might be ready to go farthur but it might just be on the limit of keeping 4 bolt heads down.
the truck is 100% together, went to the local 1/8th mile track last friday for some 7.0 index racing. made it thru one round and got killed on the light in the 2nd round.
street tires, pump gas, thru exhaust(including wg exhaust), full weight, meth and at 14.5psi ran 6.99 at 103.

dyno is easy on the rear. that is a dynojet is easy on the rear. i have been told the load simulated is only about 2500lbs. i think a pair of slicks or mt's and that rear might just explode.

Thanks :) I was pretty excited!
She's not 100% yet, I have a miss that came and went on the different runs, and you can see my numbers spiked and then dipped back down. Not sure what that was. There was still room for improvement....I was only running 17* of timing and it was in the 10's for AFR in some places. I think if I lean it out and add a few degrees of timing I could be in the 600's for hp easy, and hopefully close to the 700 mark for torque. This is all on 91 octane pump gas with methanol injection at about 14 psi :D

Yeah I'm pretty happy with 14 psi. Besides, with the 2 bar map the highest I can go is 14.7 anyway :) I want to lean it out to 11.5:1 and dial it in there, and add some timing. I'm thinking that 21 or 22 degrees is pretty manageable with the meth and would give me a good safe street tune. I also need to figure out the source of the random misfire I was having. All those together should get me a little bit more. I need to go to the track now!
