And yes please get some footage of it in aCTION! quick96z 09-20-2005, 04:17 PM luckily for me, i am only 21 right now so in 3 or 4 years after i have been settled down at the company and have moved up a little bit, i should be able to afford a nice used 2004 SRT-10 with 30,000 miles on it :D Those things are built pretty damn tough right? I have heard that they may be heavy as hell, but they are heavy in the parts that are important and need to be tough. Have you had any problems with yours? or have you heard of any problems? Trav I'm only 22  I'm not bashing the SRT-10's cause I actually was a signature away from getting a brand new Black 05 SRT-10. They only have a 600-800 load capacity in the bed of the truck and no towing. You void your warranty if you add a trailer hitch. Reading from the other SRT-10 boards I know early on that they had problems with the trannys and the dealership were putting built trannys in. I had the oppurnity to test drive one off the showroom floor, they are bad trucks, but I have my truck to haul my boat and other toys around. Mods are also expensive with a CAI costing $300+ and headers going for 3,000 I saw a used 04 black srt-10 going for $36,000 and 3,000 miles on it. That is a steal Big Asp 10-02-2005, 09:10 AM I'm only 22  I'm not bashing the SRT-10's cause I actually was a signature away from getting a brand new Black 05 SRT-10. That is a steal Things have gotten way better since you got these numbers. The QC comes with an auto trans and a tow hitch from the factory. It's tow rating is limited only by the tires. The reason the RC isn't certified for towing is DCX is afraid of warrantying burnt out clutches, and, of course, the tires. The trans problems were less than 1% of the trucks. These problems get blown out of proportion on the internet because the other 99% aren't on all the websites telling everyone that their transmission are working just like they should. Most of the '04 problems have been sorted out with the '05s. Shorty headers are $750 and long tubes are $1,800, Still pretty pricey when compared to your L but prices are dropping fast as more and more vendors are building parts. Ford does a great job of supporting the aftermarket. DCX needs to follow their example. That is a great price for that black '04! Is that your Vette too? A very nice pair of vehicles! The Black 04 was on a dealership around dallas, yes the Vette is mine, Kooks LT's are around $800 (one of the best mods you can do!!!) The prices a gatered from were from Hennesy's site, of course from what I hear he is a crook  This upsets me cause if I had known this I would be in an SRT-10 :bang: I'm glad to hear that they have been fixing problems, but it is to be expected with new model cars and trucks. If they had RCSB in an auto, I would be driving it and risk the warranty and put a hitch on it. I lie the pics of your truck !!!!! BC Lightning 10-03-2005, 06:58 PM I see your from Utah, maybe I could come check out your truck sometime, I have a condo in Park Cities, Utah. Best snow there is!!! Big Asp 10-05-2005, 05:32 AM Sure thing! My son's about your age. He's a snow boarder and lives in Park City. I'm about 45 minutes to the southwest. Let me know when you'll be around.
