That is nice, the drive kind of fell asleep a little but you still got him pretty bad.

anyone else have any videos?? There are two of them in my area. One is owned by an accountant who has never taken it above 3000 RPM, and the other is owned by a 60 yr old man who has no idea what he has. I have only seen it out of the garage once. I really want to see one in action!!

Low mileage, Yes. Babied, Not hardly! 2300 miles out of my first set of rear tires. ;)

i applaud you for driving that thing they way she should be..like i was saying, the ones in my area are kinda pussy footed around all the time. If you ever get a chance to snap some video, that would be cool as hell. I am jealous, that is one gorgeous vehicle you have there!! :hump:

Those things are built pretty damn tough right? I have heard that they may be heavy as hell, but they are heavy in the parts that are important and need to be tough. Have you had any problems with yours? or have you heard of any problems?

You can get a 05 RC for 40k or a 05 QC for 44k. Used 04's and 05's are from mid 30-s to low 40's depending on miles and mods.

I'm not bashing the SRT-10's cause I actually was a signature away from getting a brand new Black 05 SRT-10. They only have a 600-800 load capacity in the bed of the truck and no towing. You void your warranty if you add a trailer hitch. Reading from the other SRT-10 boards I know early on that they had problems with the trannys and the dealership were putting built trannys in. I had the oppurnity to test drive one off the showroom floor, they are bad trucks, but I have my truck to haul my boat and other toys around. Mods are also expensive with a CAI costing $300+ and headers going for 3,000

I saw a used 04 black srt-10 going for $36,000 and 3,000 miles on it. That is a steal

These problems get blown out of proportion on the internet because the other 99% aren't on all the websites telling everyone that their transmission are working just like they should. Most of the '04 problems have been sorted out with the '05s. Shorty headers are $750 and long tubes are $1,800, Still pretty pricey when compared to your L but prices are dropping fast as more and more vendors are building parts. Ford does a great job of supporting the aftermarket. DCX needs to follow their example.

The Black 04 was on a dealership around dallas, yes the Vette is mine, Kooks LT's are around $800 (one of the best mods you can do!!!) The prices a gatered from were from Hennesy's site, of course from what I hear he is a crook :devil:

This upsets me cause if I had known this I would be in an SRT-10 :bang:

I'm glad to hear that they have been fixing problems, but it is to be expected with new model cars and trucks. If they had RCSB in an auto, I would be driving it and risk the warranty and put a hitch on it.
