i went down to 295 / 45s... now turns are insane at excessive speeds... insane enough to demolish my left frt. hub!!! ahh.. it was goin bad anyway...
the good years dont last long (soft compound)... not long at all... ive even seen em dry-rott a tad on a couple daily driven SSs... not only that but i heard they were "de-graded" for production..... not capable of being used for their full ability?

They are the Good Year Eagle LS. Mine lasted for 45K miles. Not bad for a factory tire.

Just put 305/50/20 Toyo Proxes on my SS.

I don't mind the Eagle LS, but I'll be looking for different options soon.

Anyone know of a good 275/45 or 275/40 ?

hey man i just bought brand new tires that are the same size as the stock SS today and i want to sell my whole combo if you're interested. or just the tires.
