View Full Version : cold fusion kits any good? TXsilverado 08-16-2005, 10:12 AM i did a search but found nothing but the kits cammin had for sale everywhere. are they worth a crap or should i stick with my origonal plan of nitrous express or ny-trex the head 08-16-2005, 11:42 AM I run the Cold Fusion solenoids with a Ny-Trex nozzle. Nothing bad has happened yet. goshawk23 08-16-2005, 01:16 PM i use CF bottle heater. it works and works well. if you look on ls1tech in the nitrous section, there is a bitter debate on weather the CF noids are as good as the NX noids. oh yea, you might have to search CF in order to see the threads. 1slow01Z71 08-16-2005, 05:22 PM Nu-trex nozzles are awesome. :D If it was me I would go with the ny-trex kit I like it alot. Talk to Bobby at Clear Lake Speed he can hook you up. Tell him Cody sent you and he can get you alot better price than the one on Ny-Trex's website they are waaaay over priced there. s3gulit 08-16-2005, 05:48 PM Not tryin to whore the thread or anything, but ive got a cold fusion n2o kit i bought from cammin for sale in the classifieds. Im sure we could work a deal out. Pm me if you need anything or look in the classifieds, Dave TXsilverado 08-16-2005, 06:33 PM after an $80 tank of gas today im deciding to hold back for a while. im really wanting to pay the truck off and it will never happen if i keep dumping more money into crap that will only cost me more down the road. i searched around and think i would rather go with the NX kit in the future anyways. speedy02 08-16-2005, 09:28 PM What is a good website to buy a cold fusion kit from? I want to check it out.. :) Snacktime 08-16-2005, 10:17 PM http://www.harrisspeedworks.com/shop/home.php faster shipping than Nitrous Outlet and Dynotune and very well packed I was $425 out the door for a wet kit :secret2: one92rs 08-17-2005, 04:46 PM http://www.harrisspeedworks.com/shop/home.php faster shipping than Nitrous Outlet and Dynotune and very well packed I was $425 out the door for a wet kit :secret2: they are a non sponser. Snacktime 08-17-2005, 09:52 PM Harris is a sponsor on Ls1tech, I feel if they do good buisness they shouldn't have to pay for me to use there name here. speedy02 08-17-2005, 09:57 PM http://www.harrisspeedworks.com/shop/home.php faster shipping than Nitrous Outlet and Dynotune and very well packed I was $425 out the door for a wet kit :secret2: Thanks.. :headbang: one92rs 08-18-2005, 05:47 AM yes they do. this site is on it's own. NitrousDirect 09-19-2005, 08:38 PM We can definately help you and offer free shipping Also just a tidbit of information NX buys their solenoids from the same manufacturer Nitro Dave's Nitrous Outlet 09-20-2005, 12:08 AM http://www.harrisspeedworks.com/shop/home.php faster shipping than Nitrous Outlet and Dynotune and very well packed I was $425 out the door for a wet kit :secret2: Im going to have to say.I do not see how anyones shipping can be any faster than our soin products in stock. We ship the same day and keep alot of product instock. Dave Nitro Dave's Nitrous Outlet 09-20-2005, 12:10 AM Here is the things to looks at when comparing the solenoids in the system. What size are they( How much will they flow) The port desighn Coil amps. Dave NXRICKY 09-20-2005, 10:02 AM Hello everyone lets clear the air and move on. As always people are going to get confused so stay on topic.. I feel as the :judge: I will clear some comments made by other memebers.. They are members on the board not sponsors. We can definately help you and offer free shipping Also just a tidbit of information NX buys their solenoids from the same manufacturer Somewhat true, we both use the company called peterpaul noids.. Im going to have to say.I do not see how anyones shipping can be any faster than our soin products in stock. We ship the same day and keep alot of product instock. Dave This is true all companies can ship next day blue label or what ever the customer requests.. The only way you could a part and get it faster from one company then another (if the product is in stock) is you happen to live closer to that company. On the solenoids remarks.I get tired of reading this.Chevy makes a corvette and a cavalier. That does not mean they are the same. The NX solenoid comes standard with a 300 hp solenoid. The cold fusion is a 200 max hp solenoid. The NX has the purge port desighn. The cold fusion does not.Compare apples to apples. Dave Correct our standard package noids can flow 300 hp. And we were the first to have the purge port.. That idea straight from your truely. ME. Dave don't go there, if people wanted to pay more for kits like they do for yours then they'd get our 400HP that are sunstantially beefier and nicer than nx solenoids and still cost less than your kits, and carry a lifetime warranty .. Comments were made on a standard package sold, not what you purchase for the money. Your previous statement said that NX and cold fusion purchase the noids from the same MFG, and now you saying that its a "beefier and nicer beefier than NX." A tad confussing.. The truth is both companies buy their solenoids from the same manufacturer. ColdFusion offers a lifetime warranty on it's products, and the products are top quality and better prices it's that simple. Also the funny thing is after taking a peek at your site.. looks like yours only flow 150hp the nx kit is over $100 more and flows less and some no name kit still costs more and flows 150.. LOL come on Dave Agreed both companies buy noids from peterpaul. NX has always had lifetime warranty on our noids. cf are better price. Again the NX noids in a standard kit flow 300hp.. Battle of the sponsors.... Im going to stay out of this... I MIGHT GET BANNED.... AGIAN!!!!! Well no one talking about product is a sponsor on this forum. So what have learned today.. both companies buy the noids from the same mfg. FOR NOW> ooooppppssss yall see NX is currently building its own personel solenoids. That right all 100% USA home grown, like apple pie. See attached pictures.. So this little part of the discussion will have to end.. NOPEBODY has every done this in the history or the nitrous world. ( well except me way back in the day. lol) anyway here are yalls a few pics. http://www.ls1camaro.net/freehosting/1lowres.jpg http://www.ls1camaro.net/freehosting/LIghtning Fuellowres.jpg SPECS are all aluminum ultra light, Bottom exit and side purge ports on all noids, even the small ones, and carbon fiber cans. I have been hesatint to let this out but we are getting closer and the machine shop is gearing up.. They will be in ever kit in 06. See yall at the solenoid lines... Ricky NitrousDirect 09-20-2005, 11:31 AM Pretty well said Ricky & those look really nice |
