My exhaust is just too much I cant take it anymore. People tell me I shouldnt change it and it sounds sweet but Im loosing hearing. I was thinking of putting a resonator on hoping it would cut out alot of the drone, plus I dont want to rebend piping for a big muffler. Anyone have suggestions and a place to get one.

I would just get the largest Magnaflow muffler possible that will fit, and weld it between the flange on your y-pipe and your present muffler. Magnaflows are straight-through, so you won't lose performance, and that should cut down on the noise.

Not sure you understand what I'm saying. I'm suggesting that you weld in a Magnaflow muffler as a resonator....like a 3" in/3" out, 5 x 8 oval....before your muffler.

Id still have to redo piping

You are going to have to do something with the piping no matter what if you want a resonator. Most resonoators are nothing more than small mufflers used to take out more noise.

I originally had a Flowmaster American thunder catback kit. It came with a resonator just after the y pipe. There is no drone at all with mine. But it does quiet it down a lot to. Wish it was louder.

Check out one of these, it may work for you.

They seem to be cheaper than some performance type brands and I think they are true stainless. I know they are for diesel applications but it might work to get a little more bearable sound from your set up.

My wife has no idea what a Turbo even is so she thinks its the transmission work I had done that makes it sound different!! HA
I'm not trying to pull the wool over her eyes, just avoiding the where did you get all the money for this and that and how much did this turbo cost anyways conversation.
She just would not understand why I need a turbo on my truck thing, it would become a "your selfish for spending all this money on yourself "topic and spiral out of control from there. ;)

LOL it's been a year and a "friend" of mine blew it at a barbecue at my house. He ask me how my gas mileage was with that blower on there. Wife was like..."blower?" LOL
I put a spintech (http://www.spintechmufflers.com/spintech/spintechindex.asp)muffler after my Y to resonate. Worked okay. It definitely killed the drone in cab. I even put res tips on. I don't get any drone now, but without those cats mine is still damn loud....behind me ofcourse. LOL I still have to turn it off in the drive-thru's though, that cam and headers puts out some racket!

I'm waiting for some of my "Not too smart" Buddies to blow it for me. I'm currently formulating a crock of shit to hand her when the time comes.
She wouldn't know a turbo from a muffler anyways.
If she was into motorsports at all I would tell her but she's is into Potterybarn instead!! LOL
