V6 to V8 Swap?

Default V6 to V8 Swap?

What else is needed do i need to modify my tranny,differantial,computer etc etc or do i just swap it without hasle let me know guys im might just buy a V6 and swap everything from a v8 for alot less!!!

BTW truck is a 02 4.3L and want to swap it to a 5.3L or 6.0L

its gonna take a pretty good amout of work not worth it IMO and I think you will come out cheaper gettin a V8 truck

Ill probably be doing this myself so it dont bother me i can get a used 5.3l - 6.0l for cheap i just wanted to know what else do i need to change!

it's not that much work or that costly. a 4.3L to 5.3L swap is easy and cheap. you can get a full 5.3 with everything you need for under 800 if you look for it.

did you need to fab in new motor and tranny mounts? or did you buy a front clip out of a totalled truck? This topic has always interested me. The motor mounts are different right?
