1998 c1500 5.7 4l60e, 3.42 gov-lock
The engine is still stock all the way to the valvecovers
GM Performance parts Ram Jet intake
P1-SC 3.4" pulley 10psi
OBX intercooler
4l60e stock internals, Billet super servos, Superior shift kit, .490 boost valve (Zippy shift kit)
bagged lays on 20' Boyds
est. 5100+lb racewieght
First runs since done with this setup.

Sad thing is there is no cutout. It has a 3" y-pipe to a 3.5" single exhaust.

Why is it so heavy? The OBS trucks were rated much lighter than the new ones.

Bags, custom this and that and the other thing, notches, bed work, heavy this and that compressor, big a$$ tank, well you get the idea. Nothing like adding a ton of wieght. At one time it had a 4900lb racewieght.

the older styles are lighter than the new style??? thought it would be the other way around
