Whipple Pulleys/Boost Psi?

Default Whipple Pulleys/Boost Psi?

Can someone tell me what ( WHipple) Pulleys ( Size wise) equal what # of boost on a 6.0. Buddy of mine has a whipple and wants to know. Thanks

3" 10-11 psi 3.25" 9 psi 3.5 7-8 psi it really depends on you motor, exhaust, heads ect but this should give you a ball park. How much boost does he want to run.

He wants to run 8psi, Currently his pulley is like a 4in. he doesnt have a boost gauge.

Yeah a 3.5" pulley made 8 psi on my 5.7Ls1 and you can get it from whipple for about $60

3 1/8" on my '00 6.0 gives 6 psi at peak. Whipple told me that each 1/8" smaller gives one more psi. I installed a 2 5/8", it was supposed to make 10 psi, it buries my 10 psi guage, probably makes as much as 12 psi. I need a larger pulley and a larger boost gauge.

Yeah you probley have the two belt setup. I know my crank pulley size is a 7.5" and I think yours is like a 6.5"?

MikeGuyver, what are you doing for cooling if you are running approx. 12psi? Intercooler? Meth?
