3 1/8" on my '00 6.0 gives 6 psi at peak. Whipple told me that each 1/8" smaller gives one more psi. I installed a 2 5/8", it was supposed to make 10 psi, it buries my 10 psi guage, probably makes as much as 12 psi. I need a larger pulley and a larger boost gauge.
