This is a nifty gadget which is installed along with two cutout pipes (not included, available from places like Summit Racing/Jeg's/etc.) and allows you to circumvent your restrictive mufflers/cats and run the equivalent of open headers for additional performance and raucous exhaust notes. What's fun about this product is that the opening/closing of the pipes are controlled from inside of the cab on the fly, you can cruise around nice and quiet until it's time to play then just push a button and have some fun.
The plates I have were setup for Dual 2.5" cutout pipes, and are controlled by a single switch. I bought these along with all my other exhaust parts but didn't have enough time for installation at the same time, and now that I've driven the truck for a week I've decided the current tone is aggressive enough without the plates.
The plates normally cost $210 + shipping and take 2+ weeks to produce/ship. My set has never been installed and was only removed from the box once to double-check its contents. I'm offering this set at a $30+ discount of $190 shipped/b.o.
