where does the trans temp sender go???

Default where does the trans temp sender go???

friday i will be installing a lot of stuff on my truck see sig. i need to know where the trans temp gauge sender goes in the tranny. is there an existing hole that i can put it in or will i have to drill one. u really would like to not have to drill one if possible any help is appreciated and pics would be nice too!

the truck already has a tranny temp sender in it. i believe you can splice into existing wires in the truck.

you can do that or take the plug out right above the shift linkage, and install your sending unit there...
threads match....
this is where everyone else is puting it, and temp readings are very accurate..

(checked with EFILive readings off of laptop)
