We had a chance to meet up in Fernley, NV at the Hot August Nights drag races. First time to ride in STS truck, Wow that thing was friggin sweet.

Dusty, you did one hell of a job with the truck. Video will soon follow.

The track is a road course, so the is no tree, and no times, just heads up racing. I did G-tech a few runs early in the night, but I was launching in 2wheel drive and the truck just shifted into second and layed rubber. Later I started launching in 4wheel drive.

Any pics of that beast? sounds bad ass.

Just a very stock looking Z71 extended cab, O, I got SS badges on the doors, Ya my truck is a wan-a-be SS. lol But hey it's faster than most SS trucks.

Do you have any idea how fast it is 0-60 or 1/4 mile?

They didnt have a tree or anything. We launch off a flood light. We are ghetto. :devil:

The truck he was running against runs a 15.8 up here. He was winning by atleast a heafty 10+ truck lengths. So I would guess in the 14's at 4,000ft+ up here. When I rode with him he was trapping around a 100. It might have been higher cant remember.
