Not many of you guys in the Houston area will remember Hookinup but he was a semi-regular at HRP when we would all get together and race. He had the white Hemi STD cab with aftermarket 20's. He was driving over 45 miles a day one way to his job and I know the pinch on the gas mileage..... he traded his truck in for a SRT4!
Nice ride..... funny I was looking at some of those last Sunday......

What are some good Hemi forums? I've about had it with the 3rd grade mentality at DTW. Sorry of this offends anyone but good Lord. I respect brand loyalty and people taking pride in what they own but some of the playgorund fanaticism is just not somewhere I want to hang and learn. For the record, the Hemis that go to HRP have always been decent folk, win or lose.

There are a few good Dodge Forum sites but it seems that those that have good info are somewhat slow for my taste and there always seems to be those with that mentality.... Hey! I refuse to grow up!!!! :jest:

Oh no! I do not intend to get rid of the truck, even if wifey is leaning on me to trade it for an STR-4. Have to show what a Hemi is really capable of! ( I know, I am dreaming again, HemiEdit is going to be available any day now!!! :bang: ) I just have to figure out how to afford the car payment as well as the truck! Yeah, I remember him too. I lost to him once. Hopefully he was sprayin when he beat me. lol. I wouldn't feel so bad then, but it was a nice truck, for a Dodge. lol.

Whenever I went, I would see his truck out there. Never got a chance to meet him but I am sure the srt-4 will make it out there too.

Yea, we will see the SRT-4 out there, he just has to put some miles on it first.... When I first saw it I asked.... What?? you have to drop 2000 lbs and put a turbo on it to kick my A$$????
Looking forward to seeing how it will run....
His truck ran a best of 14.30's with the 20's on it but he never got below a 13.9 with the spray due to a complete lack of traction.
He gave up on the bottle and pulled it out just when I had a few ideas to get him going quicker...... just have to put those ideas to use on my truck!

Ah, the Chevy will stay stock.... the bottle is already on the Dodge. I just have not had much of a chance to run with it..
