It was one of the old ones I was suprised how good a shape it was in. These guys were sitting outside my apartment all afternoon bullshiting so I go out to get some bojangles and heads turned when I started her up. Said he had just done full exhaust 4 big 4"tips 2 on each side. He didnt know much about cars but I said lets go run em. After some bsing, black guys cant back down in front of thier friends. I knew I was in for it but what the hell how often do you see one of these, never.
I pull onto the main road and he isnt back there so I figure he just went on his way. Next thing I know I see him coming up. Unfortunately the street was busy I was hoping to go from a dig, where I would at least stand a chance in 4x4 but went from a 45 roll big mistake. Mashed the gas no 3 to 2 WTF Im just sitting there then it upshifts and I get a half second of the one wheel wonder ( really need tires badly) about the time I hear the turbos spool and he just walks off by 80 at was his bumper. The truck was running like crap I didnt have time to press the tow button for 6400 shift points.
I expected to get beat but I was hoping for a better race.

I know Im an excuse have mofo but I want a rematch damnit. This big chunk of guts can do better.

Anyone know anything seemed to be turbo'd from the factory had insignia on the back. It was the last year they made them I think 99 or 2000. He said it had 350 at the wheels

You mean a 300ZX? They quit making those in 95 or 96 i believe. The TT cars were rated at 300 iirc. Still, they will put a pretty good whoppin on most trucks. What kinda hp you putting down with the h/c combo?

your right 300z editing now.

My best run to date is in the sig going by a calculator at a weight of 5400 lbs
the engine should be around 390hp probably around 320-330 at the wheels dyno is coming soon. Im expecting a high 13 sec pass in the 1/4 goal is 13.7

Your HP computed from your vehicle weight of 5400 pounds and ET of 8.873 is 391.23 .
Your HP computed from your vehicle weight of 5400 pounds and MPH of 78.34 is 445.17

this is what my calculator says hmmm
those numbers looking suprisingly similar to a stock lightning except I have a smaller NA motor :poke: :poke:

A smaller motor by 3 cui. That's not bad at all, altho if your going to say it's similar to a Lightning, you can prolly expect a high 13, low 14 in the 1/4, since that's what most are running. They are capable of faster, but most run high 13's. Good luck with your goal. :drive:

Dont know for sure, but I do know they are faster Stock then the 350 Z is now. Rated at 300 from the factory, and they put up one hell of a fight.
