You should be cool if you dont get too wild. Keep it to a 100 or at most 125 shot, and do it safe. Window switch fuel shut off etc. and you should be fine. :burn:

Cooler plugs(tr6's at .035 or .040)) and wires(msd, taylor etc). The window switch is a good safety mod but i never ran one on automatics only on manuals.

I would recommend an exhaust for sure and get a custom tune that can make up for the extra flow from the nitrous to get the best results from the hp that you will be making. I would highly recommend a transgo hd-2 shift kit corvette servo and a billet overdrive servo for the tranny and that will help it live alot happier and dont run as much of a chance of blowing. You definately need a window switch so you arent spraying through your shifts I have been doing that on my truck but my transmission is fully built with every available aftermarket part. Upgrade your plug wires to msd's or something compareable you need the best spark you can get. Then you need new spark plugs like ngk tr6's gapped at .035 no bigger or the spark will get blown out by the nitrous. Go with a 100 to 125 shot and makes sure it is a wet shot system otherwise you run a much bigger chance of blowing your engine. I would recommend a ny-trex kit thats what I have and has alot of cool features that none of the other kits have.

What features does it have that say an NX Express kit wouldn't have? I'm curious because I'm getting an NX Express kit. Thanks

Look in my sig pic you see that all three silenoids are on a anodized aluminum block looks cool the nozzle has a better spray pattern then any other kit on the market it comes with a fp safety switch which most dont comes with a hard line for the purge you can see how I routed it up to the windshield so its alot easier to run and the kit comes with a purge silenoid unlike most kits. I can post some more pics if you want.

can you post one of the magic button?
how hard was it to install could a guy w/ little to no experience put this together
and from your sig i can see that you spray just before the intake manifold if i ever wanted to get rid of the "GO JUICE" would be like a hole in my intake?
any pics could you post them.
one more thing how big is the bottle?
casue i would like to put it under my seat if that is possible?
btw this info is for my truck in my sig..

well both how do they fit in the truck is it clean or is it kinda rigged?

On the 4wd its just the factory button for the autotrac system. The arm switch and purge I am in the process of make a switch plate for them to go in the center console behind the little door that you can put cd's in so as of right now it is just rigged and I dont have a pic of it cause it looks like shit. You can install it this was my first notrous install and I have one of the more difficult kits to install due to it being a wet kit and I had to install a nitrous pressure and fuel pressure sending units too for my gauges along with the a/f gauge. Here are the pics that I do have if you want more let me know what of and Ill post them tomorrow morning.
Same as sig pic but a little bigger

This is one of the main reasons why I like this kit cause all the silenoids are on one block and it looks cool too

Better shot of the nozzle yes you will have a hole if you take the nozzle out but you can patch it up with some sealant and a couple of pieces of plastic

This is where you tap into the fuel rail on the passenger side of the engine

o dang you have to tap into your fuel rail?
i dont know if i can do that dang
how hard is that?
1slow01Z71
07-21-2005, 10:03 AM
Not hard at all man. There is already a t off the fuel rail that has a shrader valve(the kind that is on your tire) you get a tire valve puller tool and pull the vlave out and you screw the fitting supplied with the kit and then connect the hose to it then to the silenoid thats it not hard at all. Just a little fuel will spray out not much just make sure the engine is cooled off so you dont light yourself on fire.

Thanks for posting the pics. I am using the Schrader valve already for a FP gauge so I guess I'll have to T off that line somewhere, right? Does having the solenoids on one block have any benefit at all? What's the reason behind having a solenoid for the purge valve?
1slow01Z71
07-21-2005, 10:11 AM
To purge the air bubbles out of the lines so you get all nitrous. When you first hook the bottle up after every fill-up there will be air in the lines so you need to be able to purge that out of the lines for consistancy. I will post up the part number for the fitting tomorrow for you. All you do is thread the fitting on the shrader valve thread the sending unit for the fp gauge into the fitting then the fuel ine threads onto the end of the fitting reallyeasy to do. Having them on the same block is just easier for installation and it looks really cool IMO and you have less wiring going everywhere and it makes for a cleaner install.

Cool, post that number when you have time. So that adaptor you are talking about attaches to the schrader valve, and then there would be 2 outlets; one for my FP gauge sending unit and one for the fuel line to the solenoid? With the purge I meant does every purge valve come with it's own solenoid or just your kit? My NX Express kit will have a purge kit in it; just don't know if it include a solenoid; buying the kit used. Does your kit give you the ability to have dual purge lines; like one on each side? That would look pretty cool.

Every kit that has a purge has a silenoid. The fitting will screw onto the shrader valve then it will have a female port for the fp sending unit then it will have a male port for th fuel line. For the dual look you have to get a kit that has a t or y with two lines coming out of it.

Hey hey hey, quit the dad bashin. Mine didn't understand, but my boys are 7 and 5. I have a 78 and plan to getr a cj for em' just to play with, The 78 WILL be in the 13's before its even thought about being finished, and the CJ is a different project alltogether. But I plan to get a NBS and drop a 408 into it for all of us to play with, I know it sux to be misunderstood, but it will all work out. Just sow him what you can do with it, he'll be impressed.

man, go lower and tint your windows, and btw...hopefully you buy some weld, centerline 16" racing rims if you plan on going to the track anytime....20's are way to muc f*ckin weight on that sob.
And if you just wanna do burnouts, buy yourself a line-loc, saves yourself and your brakes a hassle, otherwise your brakepads will whereout pretty damn fast....ask me, i know all about it  .
