Yep, from Mr. hennessey himself..............the 1,000 HP and 1,200 ft lbs of torque, 0-60 MPH in 3.1 seconds and the 1/4 mile at 10.3 with a speed of a 133 mph!! Awesome, but a bit pricey at close to $90-$100K......truck and TT kit! If I hit the lottery anytime soon, I'll post pics!! :D

Yeah that's the very same truck that's in that Motor Trend video. That has to be quite a ride! It belongs to a guy in Florida that has about 10 SRT-10s. He has one of each color and body style, some modified and some stock..

A bit pricey...are u nuts!!! Your talking about a Truck that is quicker and will out run all but 1 supercar...(though your not getting near the quality out of Dodge :) compared to oh Ford or Ferrari...ya there about on the same level lol!! j/k) No but the more I think about it the more pricey it seems, cause think of what you could do to an 'ol 5.0 w/$95k....

Thats definatly a super fast and powerful truck, with a super high price tag. I hope that includes a complete roll cage installed, because you will only get one pass and sent home without one with a truck that goes that low a number. This makes me want to see how shocktherapys twin turbo L turns out.

where do they find the traction in that thing. I hear the stockers are a nightmare to launch as it is. That's still an impressive ride, but I don't think I'd spend the money on it.

Apparently slicks make a world of difference in those trucks, and with the unique rear suspension (in the reg cab only) is basically a set of traction bars built right in.
Check out this pic, you can see it infront of the rear tires. http://www.dodgeboy.net/news/ram/pages/DSCF0017_jpg.htm

Think about it, people pay $90K for a new Viper that'll run 11's. For the same price you get a Viper truck that runs 10's, I don't think it's that bad. When I win the $170 million jackpot this Friday, I'll get one and let ya know how I like it :)

It's true, they are difficult to launch consistently. The tire size is the problem. There just aren't any DRs or slicks for 22" wheels. But, for all other types of driving/racing the tires/brakes are a huge positive. Bogart wheels near San Diego has developed a set of 18s for front and back that are strong enough for drag racing and will clear our brakes. Now we can run DRs at the strip if we want.
The Hennessey truck in the video ran slicks. Hennessey has a kit to go smaller on the rear brakes to fit a drag wheel/slicks on the truck.
BTW, that's a very nice Dak. Very cool!

I bet Parish 8 would sell you his 1060rwhp Silverado for $90,000.

Yea, I bet Parish would.... but there is no comparison.... I would NOT spend the money on either of them.... But both of them have great positives.... Parish has the best sleeper on earth.. There is NOTHING sleeper about the Venom...
Rather spend my cash on a monster Hemi....
