I think we should transfer over the tuning 101 stickies from ls1tech. We are getting alot of redundant basic questions plus it will help out alot of new people that dont know to look over on the ls1tech website. Plus some of the truck tuning is different or calls for different methods.
Im willing to help organize the info or consolidate it.

I 2nd it. HPT newbie here and I would like to see the truck forums build a nice reference section for tuning information as it relates to trucks/suvs.

here is a great read I would change some things but its a place to start. If the mods dont want to integrate the whole threads that are stickied we could at least make a stickie with links to them. Just so we dont have an endless stream of repative mundane questions
I think thats a great idea
but just make one
and then lock it and update as needed
that way it would keep all the BS out

Also please add Okie5.3's description of the PCM relearn procedures.

I would be willing to work with someone to set this up. My time is a little limited at times though, so I can't do it completely, but I would be more than willing to help get this setup.

I think the easiest way to do this would be to put a stickie section at the top just like they do on ls1tech where if someone post up something good we stickie it.
Is it possible to move some of the stickies over?

yeah, the misfire dtc was loaded up with info. i had no idea there was so many other sensors/systems taken into account for misfires. the o2 and pcm info was really good as well.
