how long do blowers generally last without getting rebuilt?

specifically radix and procharger

Ive noticed people getting there centrifugal styles rebuilt ,it seems like a lot more than the roots style

any info on this?

Eaton supplies superchargers as OEM equipment for Jaguar,Mini and more so you can expect very good durability 100,000+ miles from a Magnacharger.

The Mangacharger Radix minimum service life is 100K miles.

I've got over 50K on a 1.6L Whipple routinely spun well beyond its redline with no problems at all. Keep the oil fresh and they should last as long as the bottom end.

You have to keep in mind that the original designs for the big monster roots style of blowers were to go for millions of miles on interstate long haul trucks with big diesels....... They are very, very reliable, usually. And for street applications, rarely EVER come close to the limits of their performance.... Simply stated, you can torque up the boost to a point where it harms the engine way before you will hurt the supercharger.
