in November. TS is Thunder Shootout in Belle Rose LA and is normally held the first weekend of NOV. early yes, but never too early. Lots of us southerners are hoping to see a 4 way battle for top dog between reigning champ Parish, and the three challengers Blacksheep, TwoToneBlown and Redaddiction:devil: .

oh yea, people drive from New York, Chicago and california to attend.

the trucks usually have more vehicles in our class than the fbods in any of their classes. TS 2 (my fist one) we had over 20 trucks. ts3(my second one) we had over 30. each year we had the most participants like i said above. this year, i think we are (slowprocess and I) are trying to start some trash between states. here is Slowprocess' and my plan. Take the states that participate, and the number of entries for that state.
add all the times, then divide by the number who participated. To see who the overall fastest state is.

MS will have a large number of trucks. close to 10. Tx and La will be there as well. if you want to represent another state then so be it. either way, we need to even the numbers of entries so some states can drop off their slowest members. do the math and which ever state post the best et wins.

ony problem is we need to decide on what we want to bet...each person put 10 bucks in a pot and then divide that up to the winners or what ever we can agree on.

like i said, this year should be the best....

800 miles, 12.5 hours. If my truck stays together........
I would love to spectate. Not worthy to grace the track with that company.

i would love to go, it all depends on if the truck is running or not. as it gets faster there seems to be more and more down time.

I haven't really heard much about his truck. If he wants to throw his name in the mix then that makes it all that much sweeter. A 5 way shootout.:D

All Gm from Gen II through gen IV engines. it is a bracket race more or less. TS 03 we did indexes. TS04 we did a normal bracket race.

So far we have a list of about 30 trucks just from this site alone. Not to mention there will more than likely be more to throw their name in the mix. And add all the local boys. we could probably have close to 50 trucks this year.

Go in the southern forum and read all the trash talk we have started. I really think this is going to be the best year so far. The last few years, most of truck guys hang out do some drinking and bbq'ing.

I know, it's so hard not to say anything. With what he has told me...it should be pretty quick. I know the GTO will be pretty quick too here in a month or so
