Does any one have any track times from a duramax with the Banks Boss Hoss kit on it? Even an educated guess would be helpfull.
Thanks, Sam

My guess would be low 15's, but it really depends if the trans holds. You can do the same with just an exhaust and a tuner.

The kit is way overrated and primarily just a wallet drain.

put a bully dog dyno dominator on it with a power pup and shift kit and it will run low 9s in the 1/8th easy

Thats what i was thinking. There is a guy around here that just put this kit on his DMax and thinks its the shit now. He keeps talkin shit about my truck and i was just tryin to decide if i should call him out or not. My truck ran 14.3 @ 97 on a slippin trans and the tranny is fixed now. So it sounds like he's got some work to do befor he's ready for me.
Thanks for the help guys!

$1200 bucks for the IC & it doesn't add squat on a stock turbo truck.

I highly doubt that the this setup will net you those gains. I know a good convertor along with a Transgo will let you run a 100HP box safely.

For the record, the Banks alone netted me a 9.0* run in the 1/8th mile on a stock tranny with slicks. This is on the LLY engine so LB7 may vary.:D

I know my fathers 03 crewcab dually with 90gal. tank/toolbox in the back ran a 9:45 in the 1/8 with just a 100 h.p. flip chip. Since then I've added 4in exhaust and K&N Gen II, I'm hoping 9:20's if I can hook it off the line.
