alright, who makes the best sounding exhuast for these trucks, im bout ready for mine now. has anyone seen any mpg improvements from just the exhaust?

I really like the sound and quality of the Magnaflow kit. Most of the improvement is in lower EGT's, but a may show a slight mpg improvement. Is this for a LLY or LB7 D-max?

We put AFE's turbo-back kit on my friends 03 LB7. Sounds pretty dam good. Nice, loud, low, deep rumble. But quiet at cruise. Very nice kit and very nicely priced compared to alot of other setups.

I have installed bully dog exhaust, from the down pipe back, i put the muffler on backwards to give more flow and it sounded good and also lowered the exhaust temps

my op straight pipe is the only way to go on a diesel, but thats just me

I have the Banks Monster on my LB7 and it has worked really well so far.

I run the Kennedy Diesel 4/5 system on the LLY and it rocks. Solid dyno gain and it sounds wicked.

Id go with AFE or the Magnaflow for price, quality, sound

I've got MBRP on mine and love it. If you've got a cat definitely lose it. No real gain in mpg's but definitely lowers egt's.

I have a Banks on my truck, if I had to do it again I would get the MBRP 304 SS exhaust.
