Went cruising out of town tonight. Found the local hangout and fell in line behind a Buick Regal T type. They parked and I pulled up and started a conversation about their car. I love the old 3.8 Turbo cars. Anyway an 87 model. Been touched as most have. Stock turbo, exhaust work, ported intake, aftermarket downpipe and intake, nice exhaust. 3200 stall. Ran a best of 12.18 they said.

Anyway to make a long story short. We went out and lined them up. I knew before hand I was dead. It pulled me out of the hole bad, not so much mid range and top end. Beat me by several cars. Rolling back to the hang out we punched a 60 mph roll. I actully jumped them a half truck. Once the Buick's turbo spooled up they pulled me again.

Great couple guys, they were all about my truck when we got back to shooting the breeze at the hangout. The impressions were mutual. One sweet, FAST Buick.

You gotta watch those 3.8 turbo cars! There are not very many left in the world that have not been molested.

32 gs is a bit steep for a T-Type, are you sure it was not a GNX?

I sold my 87 GN when I bought my truck. I have regretted it ever since. But, I already have a drag car and I needed something that could tow.

Ya, I think it was a GNX, it was black, and they where proud of it. Still looked brand new!
