I know plenty about GM engines and their displacement potential, but I'd like to learn more about Ford and Dodge engines.

1. What is the max cubic inch that a Ford 5.4L block can be worked to?
2. Same question, but for the Dodge Hemi.
3. Are any companies resleeving Ford or Dodge blocks for more bore dia?
4. Any off-the-shelf stroker kits for Dodge or Ford yet?

For those that would like to know about the GM engines:

The LS1 based engines have seen up to 455ci with a resleeved block and 4.25" stroker crank. Thats the biggest I have heard of so far. Most strokers are stock bore (4.00") 6.0L blocks with 4.00" stroker cranks, which makes approximately 408ci with a slight cleanup bore. There are quite a few resleeved 427ci GM engines with a 4.00" stroke.

Exactly, but as far as the Hemi goes, I guess the two problems are the computer and no, no one has come up with a stroker kit for one that i know about. Give it time though and I'm sure the aftermarket will come around. The official word from Chrysler would have you believe that "the hemi is not a rebuildable motor", but we know otherwise...whatever.

There are cams, and I think they're just on the edge with getting custom computer tweaks to make the cams work. There are turbo kits and supercharger kits for the hemi out there right now though.

The new 6.1 liter Hemi with a few mods should lay down some good smack all by itself though.

We can also go to a Mopar R3 block. I've seen those bored and stroked up to 474" and have heard they'll go 496"!!

Your right they are expensive but for those who want to do a engine swap or stroke it jsut doesnt seme right. Also the possibilities and options of a stand slone are awesome. I think alot of it has to do with being able to tune themselves.
