Not to sound like to much of a ricer....Buuuuuuuuuut

My shortblock came out of a GEN 3 std cab 5 spd truck with pretty much the same mods, (Vortech, M1, hedders, cam) and it pulled 116 on street tires. My GEN 2 should weigh about 700 lbs less.

I've got a Gen 2 & 3.

The R/T info is in my sig.

My winter beater is a 93 4x4 CC 3.9 with 125,000 miles, Owned since new. It still has the stock shocks & exhaust (except the cat). The only things replaced ever were the computer, fuel injectors, & sending unit from the gas tank. Tranny rebuilt at 70,000 miles under warranty. Has 15x8 AR rims with 31" BFGs, debaged and all molding taken off, roll pan, air dam, billet inserts, clear corners, painted interior, and K&N intake.

Whoah, looks like I missed the party. There's some pretty stupid rivalries amongst the Dakota guys, different vendors/different clubs/message boards, etc. Some people just take this internet stuff way too seriously.

I've already been PM'd about it and some of it was probably just fun ribbing but, some of it seemed kinda serious so I put up that message.

We know not everyone gets along and things will happen when you bring alot of different people together but, we just ask that rivalries/fighting/bashing/etc stays off the site because it doesn't belong here. :)

If someone wants to start a new welcome thread that is fine.

They are not stupid, they are entertaining. Well at least for some. Most of us know each other from other boards. Yes, on those boards we all joke and pick on each other pretty bad. The guys that are on that board know who they are and know that we are joking. Someone got picked on that didn't know us and didn’t turn out so good.

I do agree people take it way to seriously.

I was unaware that there were any problems in that locked thread. Lets not forget to use our PM abiliteis to discuss with other members before going straight to the mods, can eliminate a lot of shit and thread locking.

For the record, no one reported the post. I just happened to be looking through here and noticed it. If it's all good with you guys it's ok with me, just looked bad at the time.
