what do they run off of the show room floor? i want to know about the tahoe more specifically. a buddy of mine has the JG tahoe and talks shit every time i see him. can i take him?

The RCSB will run 13.90 @ 99 or so. I dont remember what the Tahoe ran, however I would imagine it will be someplace in the 14's. Run him for the fun of it.

the tahoe i'd expect around a 14.7 or so. a really good one may run a 14.4.

i raced him once before i got my exhaust and i had a 87 hypertech tune. at 90mph his rear bumper was at my front tires. since then i have put in a cutout, changed intakes, got a nelson tune and i have a shaners S2 coming in around the midddle of next week.

it was the top end where he got me last time. i feel like my truck is alot stronger up top now, but i lost a little down low. not much though.

he has no clue wtf he's doing when it comes to adding power to it. he didnt know what i meant when i mentioned changing pullies and getting a nelson tune. he just wants to put gas in it and drive it :bang: wander if i can talk him out of his radix :) i could just steal it and he wouldnt even know the difference

hey tx you should beat him, you may remember the pewter sierra you raced on the gtown cruise. i think that was you. Bc that was me, i have a pre radix magnacharger w stock tune stock everything else and we were even, givin the added wieght of a tahoe you should have him

i was wandering who that was in the forums....what size motor do you have? your truck should run WAY stronger than that! i was hoping you would go to the track afterwards because i was weighed down bigtime. i had the passenger, my system and 2 heavy ass rims and tires in the bed of my truck for the track later that day. i also have the extended cab over your single cab.

when you said that you have a supercharger i was like holy crap! i almost didnt beleave you because theres no way i shoulda been able to sit next to a scsb supercharged truck weighed down like i was. hell i shoudnt be able to do it at track weight...what else is done to your truck besides the charger? i was looking for you in another thread but you never responded....

yeah its a 5.3, i bought it used w 50000 miles, one owner he worked for a dealer. It has a side mount magnacharger and an exhaust, stock headers airbox everything else is stock, im getting a nelson tune soon and pacesetter LT's that should REALLY wake it up.

it seemed slugish on the cruise, maybe i was runnin a little hot from driving all day.
i figure im low 14's i beat 99-04 gts and L's are still beatin me though. maybe im slower than i thought, nice truck though

The new issue of trucks has the Joe Gibbs Hoe runnin 14.65 for the 2wd. It doesn't give the mph though. Hope that helps.
