I cant find any headers for my 4.6....i want a 5.4 but hey who doesnt!....what company makes some good quality headers for my truck.....Long tubes if possible(alot better i hear)!!

Look for some Kooks, they are affordable and decently built....

I had headers on my 97 4.6l. I got pacesetter headers from jc whitney. U might also look on f150online.com and go to the online store they have. WHat part of mississippi are u located. In in northeast MS near tupelo.

I am located right outside of jackson, did the headers make alot of differance

Sleeper any 5.4 SOHC header will work on the 2wd's.

Sleeper I could tell more on the high end a gain with the headers. I did lose a lil low end but that could also be because of me having true dual flowmasters on the truck. One word of advice and warning with headers, the advice is to use allen head bolts instead of the supplied hardware. The warning is to be ready for a full days work putting them on. It probly took a good 7hrs to get them on my 97.

4.6 and 5.4's all use PI heads since I think '99. the 5.4 is a bit wider than the 4.6 though due to the deck height.
