Yep, I'm from Texas, too... and yet another Lightning as well... :eek2:
Came in from TALON, where site pimping isn't too badly curtailed; I'm a bit surprised with NLOC for what they did, but oh, well.
Mine's nothing special, an '01 that's stock except for the catback and (as of last week) a lowering kit/sway bar... but I do lurves it. ;)

Howdy.
Hey do you know of any track days that normal vehicles can get on and play around? I was thinking along the lines of the Texas Motorplex or Texas World.

Sometimes one of the other local enthusiast clubs (DFWSVTOA and SVTTexas come to mind) will hook up and do a discounted track day, and I know SVTOA (national) is doing stuff at Texas World Speedway.
Personally, I autocross with the SCCA: it's a whole lot of fun, and I don't cook my brakes like I can on the open track (at least 'til I can afford a nice BBK). :)
Check with your local organizations (HALO comes to mind), and see what they have going.
