View Full Version : Fighting the BLING slowec 07-01-2005, 06:03 AM I am fighting the bling. I dont have alot of money so getting wheels, radix,fans,headers,and lowering kit all at the same time is out . I have some mods but who notices. I drove to sonic on car show night and I might as well took the wifes van. I know it would be cool to continue the sleeper track, but its hard to resist.Any input is welcome. Scream 07-01-2005, 07:17 AM Bling > * You can get away w/ a little bling on a truck and keep it a sleeper. The fact that it's a truck is what makes it a sleeper, not what you've done appearance wise. People almost expect good looking trucks to be slower than a "show" truck. Throw a mild drop and some 20s or 22s on there, get some paint matched Tahoe or Escalade handles, maybe a billet grille.
