if you are planning on amping out the speakers ion your new screw and want to run wires all the way to the speakers in the door--be prepared. there are plugs that go from the door to the body. i had to find empty slots in mine and drill out the holes for the 14 guage wire to go thru. what a pain in the arse. but it sounds way better. ill get some pics later.

I ran my wires through the factory flexy rubber pieceon my 04, just unhooked them and ran it through with a big long think screwdriver.

ok here are some pics of what i had to do. granted these are only the back doors due to the ease of the pics. the front requiered much more diassembly.
this is a pic of the plug in the front door.

here is a pic of the loom for the back door.

here is a pic of the plug that goes into the body. as you can see there is no room around it to the rubber loom boot to run wires.

here is a pic of it pulled away. again as you can see no room.

so here was my solution. drilled out blank pin spots to accomadate the 14 gauge wire. then fed it thru.

and another with the plug seperated.

for those that have an 04 05 supercrew new body style i figure this will help out. i have only seen four other supercrews and they were the same. if yours is different lemme see them. man this was a small chore. the rear ones werent to bad. but the front!!! first off the parking brake foot lever assembly hasd to be unbolted and moved out of the way on the drivers side. then remove the boot and then the plug. on the front the lever you see one top folds back releasing the plug. there is a little silver tab on the bottom of the plug remaining in the door frame that has to be pushed up to get it to come out to drill it. on the pass side you have to unbnolt the fuse box assembly to gain access.

What size wire is it from the factory? I know on the chevys the factory wire is plenty good enough unless you are going for competition kind of stuff.

my factory wires were 18 to 22 gauge.
