i have found that the airaid intakes cause a vibration at mid throttle under mild acceleration. mine threw an engine code twice. i am now looking at the air force one. i want to know more that are using it. also i am working on using the factory box and building a tube for it. ill take pics of it soon. :devil:

i just got rid of my airaid and replaced with a volant. it is a fully enclosed system except for the ram air tube. and yes, on the 3 valves there was not a tight seal on the throttle body. supposedly airaid fixed it but i dont care. the volant kicks ass.

What we use to do for our ford applications was buy a filter adapter that bolts to the maf and then just throw a 12 in filter on it quick simple and effective.

right now, i have been trying to keep the motor stock. I am just going to work on appearance for now.

Looking into forging the motor.. (i got the 4.6 didnt plan on keeping it long) and running a turbo kit on the truck..

and i am not joking either ;)

You know guys, that would be something if he starts to woop up on us w/ that Ford, I for one am going to be careful. He has the torque, now he must maximize it and figure out how to pick up in the top end and put the truck on a rigorous diet and he might start surprizing a few people...all in due time.

this truck is going to get a tune and an intake of some sort. and that will do her. i am planning on helping out a friend rebuild a 91 camaro that we used to race.
