My buddy bought a 2005 Durango 4.7L today. He just happened to be the guy who drove me to pick up my Tahoe after the new tranny install. I was babying the tranny on the way home cause it was just completed and test run then I picked it up. It’s about a 30-mile drive back to the house. We hit the last section of highway before his house and he pulls along side me at about 45-55 mph. I knew what he was doing but didn’t engage because I was worried about the tranny. Then he punched it. After about 1 second of thought, I punched it. Couldn’t help it. He had about a car length on me from his jump but I made that up pretty easy, then we stayed even for a second until I shifted to third and pulled on him pretty bad. I was a full length ahead when my wife yelled “Knock it off” cause all 3 kids were in the back asleep. So I bitch slapped her and told her to shut up, :engarde: … I mean, I let off the gas. :eyes: I know it's not a very exciting story but how often do two V-8 SUV's go at it?
