DAMN 1.97 60'??s you have got that truck leaving pretty well. You must have a convertor and gears huh? hell my 99 6spd Formula used to only do 1.85-1.90s on BF comp TAs. **** man, if I had 1.97 60's I would be in the 14s easy.

My truck usually runs 1.98 to 2.05 60 ft. I have some M/T 26x11.5-16 et's but it runs better #s on the stock Generals. So when I run it I drive in to the track and unload my car from the trailer, unhook the trailer and then run my car and the truck.

I normally get around 2.16 short times. I think with a converter and some tires I could drop a tenth of so off that. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
parish - those are some good 60' and r/ts.

Usually run .520-.550's RTs with the ET streets and 1.87-1.90 60fts.

On the Generals .580-.700's (tire spin) and 2.0 60fts.

I'm hoping for better with the locker.

Hey Jim, getting those 2.0 60's is a very good start. I'm sure the Yank really helped that. How was your suspension and wheel hop during those runs? Did you have alot of bouncing around? Did the autotrac hold well?

On nitrous, I had trouble with the rear tires still spinning some even with autotrac on. Also, it was a pretty bumpy ride for the first few feet. I didn't really have wheel hop, but the truck bucked back and forth pretty bad. I think it was worse since I had the torsion bars in front raised pretty high.

smooth as can be out of the hole, no hoping or bouncing at all, i never even heard the tires try and spin but i am sure they did, just weren't making any noise. on the street i usualy get a little chirp before the autotrack kicks in.

i am not sure of the best way to launch with the yank, most of my launches were with the engine loaded quite a bit and then just leting off the brake and mashing the throttle. i tried one launch without loading the engine(run9) and it was a worse 60' and gauging a good light that way would be very dificult.

i think the NOS hits alot harder out of the hole
