I finnaly got to line up on a d-max. I've spent a whole $26 for more power in the old cummins. Mostly I've just turned up the pump and strait piped it.

So anyway, we were lined up at a red light and about 100yrds. up the road cuts down to 1 lane. I started stalling it up to get it up to 15psi off the line and he just looked over and smiled. He started brake stalling his too, and on green we went. I spun about 10 feet and started pulling on him like nothin. I dont think he was too happy, but i was. I've got a hx-35 hybrid turbo in the making to go on it, along with some POD injectors. I will probably take it to the 1/8 to see how these free mods are doing before the turbo and injector upgrade. I cant take it to the 1/4 because top speed is just over 85mph. :cry:

pretty bad. The only time he could keep up is when i was running the rpms at the fuel cut off. The rest of the time i was steady pulling away. The stock cummins is 2700rpms max, but i have a 3200rpm spring on the way. With the new spring i may hit 105mph.

Still not a great top end with the 3 speed 727 tranny and dana 60 front and rear diffs.

was he a crew cab or wahat style?

he had a ext cab long bed 4x4. Nice truck. It must have been a 00-02. Not an LLy for sure.

naw he had it par throttle don't lie now. so when you gonna start playing with the silverado again. when i get back were going to spend the summer at the freakin track to make up for this deployment damnit.

Why, your getting $10,000 to play with. I'm still stuck with a damn heads/cam 5.3. I wanted my 408, but now who knows when I'll go on deployment again. I still need slicks and a new tranny anyway. Since payday is wed. I may go fill my bottle again and go to the 1/8.

you used that bottle all up already. see if you put that turbo on you wouldn't have to worry about haveing to fill that damn thing.
