I really wouldn't call the truck rice, I just think its an attempt at making it look like a Super truck. You know those NASCAR trucks?!? Not my cup of tea, but I think that's where they're coming from.

didn't ford try that whole speedway truck thing a few years back? Damn I'm gettin old I guess it was like 7-10 years ago. Theres one around town I remember seeing when my oldest was in daycare

Ford had a NASCAR theme truck back then; I think it was just a black RCSB with blacked-out steel wheels and some bright graphics, if it's the same truck you were thinking of.
