He got some tranny work done and they screwed up on the stall he ordered so they had to send it back off to re-do it...

Zed, yeah, looks like I got the idle issue worked out. I raised the temp that the fans cut on about 10 degrees to where they are supposed to be, but I took your advice and went over all the wires and such with a fine tooth comb and the #8 plug wire seemed to be just a slight bit loose from the plug. I let her idle last night for about an hour and had no issues with the idle raising up even with the a/c on. Didn't do it this morning either.

Of course I have the drive by wire throttle body, but I had to drill a small hole in the tb blade to get it to stop that.

Wish I could be there with you guys but Im still stuck in AL buuuuut by the time I come down Ill have my nitrous and by the time Im back for good I should have my heads and cam 6L in. ;) Then maybe I can get a fair race with Ledfut off the juice. Happened after I put the stall in it. Allen already tuned for the cam and had the idle down perfect at 630 RPM. I can rev it in park and it runs fine it's just in gear now that it want's to die out. I'm thinking maybe it lost the idle parameters when I diconnected the battery and hasn't learned it yet. I don't do alot of city driving and the only time I use reverse is at work and at home backing in. I might go see him anyway to delete the rear O2's may try to run true duals and no cats in the near future...

New mods TT3000 and ET Streets for traction ( Thanks Curtis-SierraCrew for the traction aids, I owe ya one buddy :hail: ).

Also got to run a new '05 Mustang GT before I put on the slicks and they are pretty quick for the first 3 gears then it was like he ran out of gas when he hit 4th and I was reeling him in but I couldn't get him before the 1/4 was up (was at his rear tire when we past the traps). If I could have hooked up off the line I beleive I could have taken him.

Also I want to thank all the guys for showing up it seems the trucks are gaining more respect as the announcer (sp.) even came over to check us out and talk a few of us. It was nice to put new faces w/ names and also to check out new rides no matter what emblem is on the grill. I had fun and wish to do it again in the near future...Zed :cheers:

Had a good time last night, even though I didn't run as fast as I would have liked. It was nice to finally meet some of you guys and put a face with a name. I'll try to meet up with you guys again next time. :) Jason.

I am happy to report thought that my crew cabs diet was successful. Getting rid of the rear bumper for a steel roll pan, removing the trailer hitch and spare tire, netted me a 190 pound loss over the last time I ran which was with tailgate off only. She's under 5000#'s now with me in it and a little over half a tank of gas.
