I was one of those front guards.
I want a cheap but good one, in black.
Ratings?
I saw a Steelhorse one that looked very sturdy on a 'burban.

I like Smittybilt personally and then Westin after it. I know you want the black look for the truck, but to be honest, even though they say the powder coat the black on, it still will flake off and rust. This was the case with my Smittybilt (black) nerf bars. I took them off, acid dipped them, and professionally re-powder coated them. Not only did they shine like the rest of the paint, they held up till the day I traded it in.
WShat I'm saying is, if it were up to me, I'd forgo the blacked out look and go for stainless steel.
Never was a fan of Steelhorse.

I wouldn't put any of those on my lawnmower. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
