How much pwer is lost through the drive train

Default How much pwer is lost through the drive train

What percent of power is lost from the crank to the wheels. I havent dynoed my truck so I dont know the figures.

Roughly 20% loss. A stock 2000+ 4.8 is rated at 270 at the crank and will Dyno in the 220 rwhp range stock.

Mine's rated at 300/360. 20% was about dead on for me with 2000 miles on the clock.
