Oh damn that sucks!! I personally dont like Fords either but in their defense I have seen similar mishaps on Chevy motors too.

damn. never seen that before. i have seen pistons disentegrate and intakes blow off the top but never a block split in half

I've seen the trans mount / bellhousing part break before.
but not right down the middle.

seems right around the 550rwhp mark those blocks LOVE to crack right down the middle.

That's the old raggidy assed 302 block for ya. How do ya think a 305 stock block would hold up to that power level?
